About Suprchrged400c10's Passion for Performance
Where It all Started
My interest in working on vehicles began when my dad, Emile V. Sr. got me a summer job at Woody's Auto & Speed Shop. My dad raced throughout his life and had "hot rods" until his last day. His last two cars were a 1984 Mustang GT 5.0 Convertible and a 1973 ElCamino Super Sport 454, which was the first engine I ever overhauled.
I quickly learned the hard way that it took more than just a 292 duration /.500 lift cam to make it go. I experienced the performance "snow-ball" the hard way when the engine necessitated more spark, more carb, more stall/gear, and above all.... more traction and money.
Special thanks to: my dad for instilling the love of cars, Gary Wood and Mike Cas from Woody's for giving me a solid foundation of mechanical knowledge and theory, and the U.S. Navy for giving me the opportunity to earn the money to put it all together. Let the Journey Begin!

I also have a large interest in motorcycles and currently own a 2001 Harley-Davidson Sportster 1200 Custom, a 1968 Triumph Bonneville 650 with 11,000 original miles from Maine and a 1993 Honda XR dual sport/on-off road bike. I started riding motorcyles when I was 12 on a 1972 Yamaha LT2 100cc and bored it numerous times until it was time to move up into the wonderful world of 4-strokes. I have owned/built a vast number of cars and trucks which can be seen in my photo album. Thanks for stopping by.
